At least 70 ISIS bodies dropped off at Syrian hospital, opposition says

Throughout the past couple of days 70 bodies from the ISIS terror group have been dropped off at Syrian hospitals. Many of the bodies were dead on arrival. Nobody knows exctly who dropped the bodies off at the hospital, but some think that it was other ISIS members. These bodies had been killed by many car bombs going off in Kobani. Kobani is a city on the border of Turkey. The ISIS rebels have been trying to take over the city for a couple of weeks now. It is very important that the rebel ISIS group does not take it over. This war has become very heated. Do you think this could escalate into another World War? Do you think the U.S. should have stepped in like they did?

  1. I don't think that WWIII is going to come from ISIS. They are a horrible terrorist group, but there is no genocide going on like with Hitler. I think the US should not step in yet, because if we enter into this conflict, we will obviously side with Israel which will gain us a lot of enemies. The US entering the Arab conflicts could potentially start WWIII.

    1. I agree with you Gavin, although WWII was not just caused by the genocide Hitler used, it was caused by many other things leading up to it. I do agree in the part that the U.S. should not intervene. If we do, we will make enemies that may want to take things into their hands and cause us grief.

  2. I agree with Gavin that this will not bring about a WWIII. However, that's not to say that there won't be many losses during the conflict. Furthermore, when it comes to international affairs, the US has intervened in many wars, but it would be wiser to step out here. I think that we should keep a close eye on the situation, but not take any physical action.

  3. Even though this is a terrible and tragic event, I believe it is not enough to start another world war. The United States should step in and take action. However, if the U.S. were to take a certain side then enemies could be formed. Making sure Kobani does not get taken over is also an important thing to prevent the growth of ISIS. A conflict more heated and structured with more countries needs to take place for another world war to begin. In this case, another world war would be unlikely.

  4. I do not believe this will evidently start the next world war. However if the U.S. decides to step in at this point they may generate some more conflict with allies and Americans due to the fact that they'd be helping Middle East. Some potential enemies could be gained and there could be a greater rise in the already rising conflict. Then and only maybe then could there be a "WWIII" but if we play our cards right this can easily be avoided, not that it's something that could easily happen anyway.

  5. This does not seem to be big enough to spark another world war. It is obvious that no one seems to be doing something about the situation which means that the US will probably end up sending troops into the middle east. If we can restrain ISIS and their crimes and destruction it would be a start from solving this problem, but it would be a step in the right direction

  6. This ISIS is attack not that big enough to start world wars, I hope...ISIS murders is not as comparable as Hitler's holocaust since ISIS is a common enemy to almost all countries when Hitler's holocaust targeted innocent jews. I hope that US or any other country will put in more efforts into taking this organization down. It would be one less problem to worry about.

  7. I don't believe that this would lead to another war. Not many countries are being affected by the terrorist groups influence. Even with the amount of deaths, it would not be enough to provoke multiple countries into another World War. I think that it is good that the US has stepped in. Anything to help stop this group i believe would be necessary.

  8. I agree with robert that this isn't a big enough issue to spark another world war, but I really think something should be done to stop this. Innocent people are dying, but it's hard to figure pout what we can do to help. i think if the U.S. were to step in it would cause a bigger problem then there already is. ISIS has proven to kill anyone that gets in their way and I don't believe it would be a good idea for the U.S. to step in, although we probably do have more power than they do. if the U.S. does step in I would support it, but I really wouldn't recommend it, unless things get worse.

  9. Though there were a lot of bodies that were dropped off to the hospital, this would hardly be anything to cause another World War. I do believe that what the US is doing is working to an extent, and that we should be trying to solve things through diplomatic conversation between the two groups, but that's just wishful thinking. I do agree with Celina in the fact that having the US step in any more than they already are, more problems would be caused than they would be solved. Overall, what's happening is tragic, but as time goes on, the issue will be hopefully solved with not that many people getting hurt in the process.

  10. The US was definitely justified in the actions they took on ISIS. We were only going to interfere if they continued to commit violence against citizens of the US, and they did. I don't think this will start another World War because the last World War ended with the atomic bomb, and I think all countries now don't want to face more aftermath of nuclear weaponry. I am glad to see that the terrorist organization that is threatening the safety of my home country is being taken down.
